Used Book Buy Back Policy

We accept donations on Mondays and Fridays during regular store hours 12pm-7pm. 

We are especially interested in books by and about Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, radical politics, queer theory, weird & witchy books, plays, graphic novels, poetry, hard to find queer fiction, classic & contemporary trans authored books; the emphasis being why this book belongs in our store, not just who authored it.

We emphasize queer & trans authored books. As we branch out our scope to include more voices in collective liberation, we are making exceptions for radical organizing texts & titles that fit within our larger values as a collective. We reserve the right to not accept a queer authored book in the event that the author's views do not align with liberation for all.

Sell us your queer books in new, like new, or very good condition:

• No water damage, foxing, or mold. 
• No writing or highlighting. 
• No rips, tears, or folded pages (to the dust jacket, flaps, inside cover, or pages). 

Any books deemed a little too loved to be resold may be considered for free distribution on the book bike. Please note: we do not offer store credit for any book we will not be reselling.

Buy back in exchange for:

• Store credit (does not expire, we will keep on file at the store).
• Choose to donate to the bookstore for us to resell.
• Choose to donate to the book bike to distribute for free.
• Choose to donate what would be your store credit value to our “gay it forward” sponsor wall (you can write the note, we assign the $ value).

Please note: We do not offer cash in exchange for buy backs unless it was purchased from us with proof of purchase (receipt of sale) within 7 days.
